How to paint your Patriotic Pony
Found this whilst looking through articles on the daily mail website and just had to share!
Natterjack, a 14-year-old former racehorse, was painted in Britain’s colours at Barbury Castle Estate in Wiltshire before rider Laura Collett took him round the cross-country course which is designed to look like a mini Stonehenge.
This video is quite small to fit it on the page, alternatively view it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4pzRHxbF48
Here's the second photo. This was sent by Emma Alexander from Garem Stud, France. It's nice to see the blog is being viewed worldwide. This is a photo of her daughter Lana with her welsh mountain pony stallion Quinton Moon Rocket dressed as Unicorn and princess. Don't they just make the cutest pair? I love the feather's around the pony's feet! Thank you very much Emma for sending me this photo, i hope everyone enjoys:)
It's been a long time since i've posted but i've just been clearing out my emails and found two amazing costumes that i've been emailed with and just overlooked! They were so great that i felt the need to share, here's the fist lot from Linda from Stone Fox Farm
In this costume, the pony was America’s first flag. She's accompanied into the ring by Betsy Ross and George Washington.
This is a dragon costume worn by Shetland pony, Diamond.
Diamond was accompanied in the ring by a princess and a knight.
What a well behaved pony don't you agree, Thank you very much Linda for sending me these fabulous pictures and i'm sorry it took so long to get back to you!
If anyone else has some photos they would like to share, feel free to email me and i'd love to put them up on here for you:)
